We booked a week here in late October through Interval exchange. The front desk staff was very friendly when we checked in, the only positive thing about our stay. The one bedroom condo was extremely dated, with dingy-looking shag carpet (which there is no way I would walk barefoot on). The beds had polyester quilted bedspreads from the 60s, which I doubt are cleaned between guests. Bathroom floor had a long hair -- I wiped it up with a tissue and saw from the dust and dirt on the tissue that the bathroom floor had not been cleaned since last guest. The final straw was the fourth night when, as we were watching TV in the living room, a mouse scurried across the floor. We packed up and left the next morning. Would never stay here again.

The Beech Alpen Inn with Alpen Restaurant & Bar is located on top of Beech Mountain, North Carolina. “It is better at the top!” Winters, the clear skies, the snow, the views and the walking distance to the ski slopes make the mountain life better at the top. Summers, you can escape the smoldering heat of the valleys and breath the fresh mountain air. In fall the colorful leaf season is absolutely breathtaking.
Tre inn is beautifully for Christmas. It’s has an old time charm. Beds are comfortable and room is huge. Lovely view of the winter wonderland and deer that are fed in the property. Restaurant has good food. Pleasant staff and clean.

It took us 30 minutes to find the room the room number isn’t displayed where you can see them. No elevators there’s no handicapped accessibility to the rooms, the bed was very hard not a very comfortable bed we slept on the pull out, me on the floor hubby on the top. You had to be turned on light switch to turn on the lamps, had to blow dry my hair in the living room/kitchen. Save your money go somewhere else This was such a disappointment.
