A little oasis in Bulgaria
Reviewed By robi9I stayed here on a cycling trip from the Netherlands to Istanbul last year. The two sisters (I believe) who run the hotel were lovely - getting up at dawn to cook us a breakfast of pancakes (to our requirements) so that we could cycle before the heat of the day. They presented us with fruit to take on the journey, a lovely thought. The evening meal was tasty and again we were given fruit from the garden as a dessert. The hotel, designed by the deceased husband of the owner is beautiful - a corrider that runs between the rooms that is in effect a wonderful greenhouse filled with verdant plants and colourful flowers. Outside there's a large green area, again filled with more colourful flowers and plants along with fruit trees. There's a couple of pools with the hills and reservoir as a stunning backdrop. The only shame was the air con that wasn't working properly in the room, forcing us to leave the door open to the mosquitoes. Nice to have an outside area overlooking the garden and reservoir. A big thanks to the kind proprietors of the hotel.
