Beautiful Hermanus is a South African seaside town that’s a popular whale-watching site. An initial visit to the Old Harbour Museum will acquaint you with the area’s rich fishing history and impress you with a massive exhibit of a whale skeleton. With dozens of area vineyards, Hermanus is a great base for a guided wine tasting tour.

Tucked away between the picturesque mountain of the Hemel and Aarde Valley near Hermanus is Heaven & Earth Horse Trail Rides on Karweyderskraal Farm. Whether you would like to enjoy a slow gaited walk or an adventurous outride on horseback, we offer a variety of trails with scenic mountain views and wine tasting on spectacular wine estates.
I highly recommend heaven and earth horse trails. Janine is an amazing guide who will ensure that all your needs are met, be it fast gallops or relaxed scenic rides. Their horses are in wonderful condition, well schooled and a delight to be with. The scenic sumaridge wine trail is an absolute must. I’ll be back soon! Thanks for having me ????

What a lovely little gem this is. A safe beach and excellent for families. It is lovely to spend the day here. Bring a picnic. There is a bit of grass.

GREAT place with friendly staff! We had a burger for a affordable price that was amazing. We also enjoyed a platter including a Swedish delicacy called Raclette and two glasses of their refreshing Sauvignon Blanc, this is definitely a must have. Overall great experience and definitely one of my favourite farms in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.

Very nice place to spend half day walking and enjoying the beautiful flora! There are more flowers than you could imagine. The walks/hikes are easy and very enjoyable.
