We are a family run fish bar and restaurant. We have been in the fish business for four generations and we hope to keep the family tradition going. All our fish is locally sourced and is as fresh as can be. We have our own fish house based in Arbroath, Wh
We had the best ever bread-crumbed haddock and tasty chips here - huge portions, incredible VFM and friendly, efficient service. Don't know how they make the breadcrumbs so different, kept crispy dry and so tasty, but they do! We returned for another meal another day, when hubby loved the salmon option, Very impressed and could not recommend highly enough. You MUST book ahead for a table (they do take out and eat in) for Friday and Saturday pm's.

The idea for our restaurant has been a wee while in the making but when it comes to age it's got nothing on the building we will soon be calling home. After conducting a little research turns out our building once housed a 'Cleek Factory' owned by Robert F
I was in Forgans on Sundy night and the food was excellent as was the service.I was a bit worried when we were seated as we were at the back behind a pillar so was a bit concerned w would be forgotten about which wasnt the case thankfully. I had Scallops to start and chicken for my main, both lovely and my husband had haggis balls and seabass. He has said the seabass was the nicest fish he has ever had!! Our waitress Paula was lovely and the sevice was good even with two biggere tables in at the same time. Only thing i would say is when my husband booked he was asked if it was for a special occasion - which it was as it was my birthday but this wasnt mentioned on the night so he didnt understand why it was asked if it wasnt going to be marked.Lovely meal though and if i ever go back to St Andrews i will eat here again.Hello,Thank you for the great 5* review.I am pleased to hear that your meal and service was excellent, thank you for recommending the dishes you tasted! I have passed your feedback on to Paula, and the rest of the team. I do apologise that your birthday wasn't mentioned, we are very grateful that our customers want to spend special occasions with us so I am sorry that this was missed. We really do hope to see you again soon,Michelle NabalGeneral Manager

Our group of eight golfers had heard about The Adamson and were able to secure a reservation. We had a great table and wonderful meal. The decor is modern and stylish set in a historic building. Service is exceptional and the cocktails were well prepared. There is an adjacent beautiful bar area as well. Dinner here is a must if you can get reservation.

The VIC is a twin venue of sorts, like the Olsens, except we don't see ourselves being billionaires anytime soon. Thereâs the pub/kitchen, which pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin, drinks from beer to posh gin serves along with a pretty awes

We decided to try this hotel for something to eat instead of going to a restaurant,we passed it while on a day out to st andrews, the menu looked good so we decided to try it,I had Cullen skink to start and my wife had the watermelon and feta salad both were really tasty,to follow we opted for 2 fish and chips(you just have to have fish and chips when beside the sea),they were huge portions,we were both stuffed after and had no room for a dessert, well what can I say about the view.....IT'S AMAZING...you can see the 18th hole on the old course you can see the sea and the beach ..we could have sat there for hours,we will defo be back
