Had a feel like steak yesterday and tookmy meeting for lunch! No reservation and goid table with great view if lake and marina. We have eaten at the Schwanen twice now in a short period of time and each time it was a delightful experience. The service was very attentive and the food was excellent. I'm a particular fan of the "Hackbraten" (meat loaf) which often isn't quite up to par in restaurants. In this case however it was as good as homemade. The Wienerschnitzel was equally convincing.Also noteworthy was the great wine list with a broad range of wines in all price classes.I will definitely be back !

If you love airplanes and food, this is your place!The restaurant is by the Wangen-Lachen Airfield and has a wonderful terrace that allows you to watch take offs and landing of SEP Airplanes.Here you can have the typical swiss dishes, salads, fitness teller and also good ice cream.Being a Pilot I love this place.

Das Highlight vorneweg; die Sicht ist schlicht fantastisch! Man sieht die drei grossen Seen der Region Zürich auf einen Blick. Das äusserst charmante Lokal bietet gutbürgerliche Küche mit meist hauseigenen Zutaten. Selbstgemachtes Bier, Konfitüre etc. gibts auch zum Kaufen vor Ort. Das Essen war phänomenal; traditionelle Gerichte eigens neu interpretiert. Im Keller des Lokals versteckt sich zudem eine riesige Sammlung an ausgewählten Weinen. Unbedingt einen Besuch wert!

We come back to this restaurant whenever in Rapperswil. We love the chopped veal with rosti and tonight especially enjoyed wild mushrooms as a starter. It's expensive, but then so is everywhere in Switzerland. We highly recommend it. Waiting staff couldn't be more helpful.
