Tasty food and a very relaxing place. It's a new restaurant with very reasonable prices. I loved the atmosphere and I would recommend it especially for families with young children since it's located opposite of a playground . The service is very fast and friendly. You can have the most fantastic coffee on the island and the most amazing homemade sweets. I would definitely recommend to try the pizza special and the traditional greek souvlaki (wrap).

Visited this lovely taverna just recently and went in several times over 10 day period. the food was always very good and the staff , Costas, Harris, were very attentive and good fun to have serving you . Costas Uncle is the Chef and prepares some lovely dishes which we enjoyed very much. We voted it the best we had in Vathy. The Menu is slightly limited but they concentrate on good cuts of meat and do it well. Overall its a friendly atmosphere and lovely location. One night a large party were booked in from a yacht flotilla and they were very busy ,but they did not overlook us and made sure we were attended to , which is more than can be said for some other tavernas nearby.

I visited veranda twice for dinner and had the chance to enjoy their burger and the Greek style carbonara. Both of them were amazing, really big portions and excellent service. Don't hesitate to walk in since the restaurant is part of Mentor hotel, but external guests are more than welcome. Also, I heard they are doing take away in more than competitive prices. Would recommend it to anyone, but make sure you are hungry when you go and don't order too many courses.
