Comfortable, tasteful decor with great music playing. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Good range of dishes at very reasonable prices.Mediterranean pasta with chicken was delicious, very tasty and piping hot from the kitchen. Cumberland curl and mash equally delicious. This came with very tasty gravy and a small amount of crispy leeks. (An extra vegetable served with this may be a good idea)Chocolate brownie with ice cream and a white chocolate and lime pie with cream were both very nice. Will definitely return

Champs Sports Bar and Grill is located in Washington, 2 minutes from Junction 64 on the A1 North and South Bound. With a great offer, great atmosphere and great food Champs is the place to be. There is something on our menu for everyone from salads to ste
Staying in a nearby hotel visiting relatives we decided to have our evening meal in Champs, big mistake, there was no draught beer available so we ordered alternative drinks while perusing the menu. There was absolutely nothing for the vegan member of our party. Do they not realise that we are now in the 21st century? No excuse, every establishment should have vegan options on the menu.Hi Stewart237.As you were informed at the time of your visit, we had a problem with our cellar gas which meant we had no draught beer, this problem was totally out of our hands and was rectified as quickly as possible. We did reply to your email regarding vegan options, and did let you know that we had very little choice for this dietary requirement. However we take your comments on board and will be adding in Vegan options onto our next menu.We hope to see you again soon.Regards

From Raval's chic and award-winning restaurant overlooking the spectacular Newcastle upon Tyne cityscape, our team of world class Indian chefs deliver the very best in contemporary Fine Dining Indian fusion food. Our tantalising cuisine, indisputable know
On arrival on Friday evening we were surprised to find the restaurant empty. We were led to a comfortable lounge area where we were told about the amazing experience we were going to have. The waiter then mixed up the drink order. When we were led to the dining area the waiter insisted on carrying our drinks which he mixed up at the table and then disagreed as we tried to switch them back. When the food arrived, two of the four main dishes were wrong (different dish and different meat) with no real apology. As the food had taken some time, we said we would just accept it as we wanted to eat together and not wait. However, after some time another waiter appeared with the ordered dishes as he 'wanted us to experience' them. One of these was still wrong (lamb not chicken) and we were most way through our meal by then, so they were largely untouched. It created a lot of unnecessary waste (we couldn't take away). The restaurant itself is nice and the food we had was good. However, it's pretty poor if the staff can't get the order right when they only have four customers in the whole restaurant (as remained during the evening). Also I personally think £5 per portion of rice is a bit expensive...
