Had lunch here on a public holiday and were happy to find anything open. What luck we had to stumble into this one. Beware of the portions, they are huge! Didnt know you could even maje bifteki that size. All very nicely grilled and tasty. Highly recommended especially if you hike up to the castle afterwards.

Man glaubt es nicht. In diesem kleinen Ort Unteroberndorf so einen guten Griechen zu haben. Essen einfach gut, schnell und gleichzeitig alle Speisen erhalten. Lecker geschmeckt und heià und frisch!! Salat vorher ebenso schmackhaft. Zivile Preise und beim bezahlen noch für jedem einen Schnaps. Kommt alle mal zum Essen!

Friendly neighborhood location. recent remodel, (must have cost a fortune!) nice decor, high ceilings, water fountain in middle, small bar, pleasant and relaxed feel. we almost did not go in after sticker shock, compared to equivalent greek-german restaurants in the region. we were starving, and they had just opened the door at 5pm, and in we went, the first customers of the day. we ordered a lot of different food, and the price justification was not there. 9.50 ⬠for grilled octopus(lukewarm, had much better), 13-15⬠for a mixed plate. in my experience these and most other items were 25% plus more than other greek regional restaurants, and without an expected quality bump for that price. part of the fun in going to different greek restaurants in Germany is to see how exactly each differs in regards to how they prepare the same menu items. for example, take a fried feta cheese...how thick the batter, how long the fry, how melted or hard the feta, served with what, etc. or the tsatziki, each is different. i would put the greek food as below average for the price, average in general, and the lamb we had was wonderful, but the gyros were oversalted in sauce. service was nice, but slow on the drink refill (although by that time we were one of several tables being served by the same waitress...a german specialty to hire but one waitress for the entire dining room ). i would go back only if in the neighborhood and out of other options, but as i know of at least two other greek restaurants nearby, and have yet to try them, i would hit those first.

I heard many good reviews of this place, so we tried once, but I was not impressed by the food or service. It seems meals are over-priced for what you receive.
