Greatvatmosphere and great food. Really feels like a family environment in there. You can't go wrong with the Gyro. Best I have had in a while. Make this place a stop for you.

We have been patronizing this establishment for almost two decades. GREAT food and service. Best gyros and tzanziki in town. Plus, everything else is excellent as well.

There's nothing quite like biting into a tender, juicy steak. But a top-quality sirloin cooked to perfection is a shockingly rare occurrence. If you're in the Columbia, MO, area, though-you're in luck! Around here, everyone's favorite spot for delicious s
Formica tables and banquet hall type chairs bespeak the unassuming come as you are feel of this long time popular place with locals. Some of the food is very ordinary but some is quite good, high value for the reasonable prices. Friendly and family run. Located in Doug Columbia but 5 minutes from University of Missouri campus, on a frontage road just west of route K / South Providence, just north of Greenbriar.

My wife and I have lived in Columbia for many years and have heard good things about Tony's from some of our friends but have never been. We were feeling hungry for some good casual eats last night and decided to give Tony's a try. Walking in, Tony's has that feel of a small town pizzeria with those same type of tables/booths, plates, plastic red cups, and delicious pizza (it reminds me of a Mazzio's or Godfather's pizza I used to go to as a kid). They had a TV with the Cardinals game on. The kitchen was right by the dining area and you could watch the employees prepare the pizza. All the employees were welcoming and friendly and the same family that started the business still runs it and cares for their patrons. There were a lot of families there and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We love both pizza and greek food so we decided to order a gyro meal (which comes with a greek salad, gyro and french fries) and a gyro meat pizza. Both meals were delicious; however, I didn't really appreciate the strong flavor of the gyro meat in the pizza. I think this is because I generally associate gyros with either the fresh crispness of tzatziki sauce or with hummus, and while the pizza was good, it didn't have that characteristic gyro feel. I think in the future, I will order more traditional pizza toppings. The gyro meal itself had the tzatziki sauce and thus was more enjoyable. Our server was very friendly and available.Overall, we had a great time on our low-key date night and will be back again with our two small children (who love pizza!). We are excited to add Tony's to our list of local Columbia go-to restaurants!
