This restaurant was recommended to me by a local couple whist be stayed overnight in a local hotel.A traditional local pub one side and a large but intimate restaurant on the other. Staff were really friendly and efficient and quickly seated as soon as we arrived.Drinks were a reasonable price and they had a large quantity of wines and spirits. Between us we had a fish cake and risotto, both of a really good standard. We also had a baileys ice cream and espresso dessert. The bill came to a little over £55 which we felt was great value for money too. A decent amount of parking on site but if you arrived a little later then you might struggle to get a space. Definitely somewhere we would visit again.

Charming 16th Century award winning pub/restaurant, situated on the High Street, in the centre of Ripley.
I managed to get a table at the Anchor at short notice and 4 of us went for a birthday meal on a Saturday evening, the staff were extremely friendly and even though the table was needed for another booking after us we were not rushed and did not feel pressured to finish our meal. The food was lovely, very fresh, nicely presented and tasted amazing, even though we have not been to The Anchor for a couple of years it is still one of our favourite local places to eat.

Welcome to the Rowbarge! Originally built as a 19th century pub for the construction teams at the nearby canal, the Rowbarge has been welcoming folk and providing good food, drink and a comfortable bed for over 150 years. Just 5 minutes from Woking centre
Went to the rowbarge last night with a groupon voucher entitling us to a three course meal for 2 with free flowing Prosecco for an hour for under £40, food was delicious, I would recommend the Camembert fir starter , the chicken breast in a mushroom sauce, and the sticky toffee pudding, although the other dishes looked lovely too! If you canât get hold of a groupon voucher, the food is reasonably priced any way. We spoke to the manager who advised that he took over in November last year, we should try and support our local pubs before we lose them. Itâs definitely a thumbs up from us and we will soon be booking again for the Sunday roast. So kind, and look forward to hosting you again!

You'll always find a warm welcome at O'Neill's in Woking. Ours is a place where you're free to go with the flow. Where great food and drink is always served with a smile. And where, no matter whether you're a regular or a newcomer, our friendly team will
Nothing very special about this franchise Irish bar. The decor is warm and nicely done. We sat outside as there were smokers in the group. Everything was fine until we ordered cocktails from there cocktail menu.. it took a group effort of four staff members to make them. They did not turn out like they should but then this is more a pub than cocktail bar so should have known better!!Leisureguy32, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. If you are willing to give us another chance, please reach out to us at 01483 728304 to speak to our manager directly.
