This is my favourite bar to visit in Santa Marta by a long shot. Plays excellent music and has good beer and cocktail options. Has a pool table and also hosts cinema screenings. Food is very tasty and everything is reasonably priced. Right on the beach so good view of sunset. Great man! Thanks a lot for that! See you soon! :)

We had dinner at this place and it was delicious. The "chevice" and "pescadito playero" are our favourites, and the mojitos are quite refreshing. On the corner of Parque de los Novios, this restaurant offers the standard dishesâand musicâof Mexico. We had the carnitas tacos and enchiladas verdes, the former was decent, the latter was layered in salsa and cheese, but a bit bland. I used the jalapeño salsa liberally. We arrived just after they opened for lunch when it was empty, but this is supposed to draw a bigger crowd after 5:30 for dinner. The book of a menu has pictures for non-Spanish speaking tourists.

Because there were so many interesting options that I had a difficult time choosing just one particular burger. When my burger with pineapple arrived, it was accompanied by a generous serving of thick, tasty fries. No I did not need mayo or catsup, the fries were fine just nekked. The tasty burger, fries and a beer will set you back 26,000 pesos ... not a bad deal at all. Ah, they have an inside eating option ... always choose this in Santa Marta; otherwise you will spend 3/4 of you meal warding off all the street vendors.

Wonderful little place, very clean and comfortable. The owner was very attentive but not hovering. There were three of us in our party. I ordered the braised ribs and they were fabulous. The other ladies had a pork sandwich and said it was delicious. This was a little off the beaten path which made it even more charming. If I get back to Santa Marta I will dine here again.
