We had a short week-end break in Alsace just tasting wine and relaxing. Since we spent the night at the Chateau d'Isenbourg, we decided to try their restaurant as well, and it was a really good decision.Probably the restaurant is the highlight of the whole estate, specially this time of year, when you can not benefit of the outdoor facilities, like pool or tennis-court. We went for the 3 course day's offer, which turned out to be more like a 5 course tasting menu with all kinds of little extra attentions. They had 2 main courses to chose from (one was fish and the other pork), everything was really delicious and the presentation just WOOOW! We were somewhat surprised by the generous portions. You don't expect to feel saturated half way of a french dinner... Service is just impeccable. Premium location with a view on the village, professional personnel, knowledgeable sommelier with a good wine-list. Don't bother with the coffee after dinner. It is typical french - just undrinkable for someone used to Italian/Austrian coffee. But I guess this is just how French like coffee, so I still give them the maximum rating.Dear customer, Thank you for your stay at Isenbourg castle and your excellent review on TripAdvisor. We are thrilled to read that you especially enjoyed the good times spent in our restaurant âLes Tommeriesâ and that we matched your expectations during your short week-end break.Thank you once again for your compliments and be assured we will be very glad to welcome you during another occasion when touring in the area. In fact there are many beautiful and interesting places to discover in Alsace.Kind regards,

This restaurant is located in a family-owned large estate in the middle of the vineyards. For more detailed info please see my comments on Hotel du Bollenberg (Rouffach). The scheme we recommend is : taste the estate wines at their winery (free tasting for individuals or families), then have dinner at the Auberge and finally spend the night at the Hotel sitting in the same estate (just across the street).Twice in a year, we have had dinner at this place and were always happy.Their Choucroute Royale is a must. This dish is so generous in quantity that you hardly have room for a appetiser and/or a desert. To accompany the choucroute, my advice is to drink their Riesling "Clos Sainte Apolline", selection. Good and not expensive.Service is very friendly and efficient. One last recommendation : book in advance because this is a popular place for locals as well.

The location of this restaurant near to Colmar is totally unexpected in a quiet business/residential area. I like the design of the modern building which creates an open, bright and spacious restaurant. We were with a large group and had a set menu which was excellently prepared and served. I want to visit here again.

Former inn on the road Colmar Gérardmer, it is in a warm and neat framework that we will be pleased to welcome you. One address, two restaurants to discover. In our dining room, we welcome you in a relaxed and professional atmosphere, under the attentive
The comments below are for the restaurant, not the bistrot. The restaurant was a discovery and a pleasure (again). We were lucky because we booked when one meal was paid, the other was offered. There was only one menu with 4 courses, all as excellent as each other. The food was superbly fresh and tasty on each course (fine food). We liked particularly a starter (out of 3) with wild mushrooms and a not hard-boiled quail egg in a dressing (I could not explain it but it was estonishing and superbly delicious) and the main course with quails. The proposed wines (one glass for each course) were well chosen, fitting perfectly with each course. The service was courteous (not stiff), careful and professional. The trip to the restaurant was very nice (one can take the "wine road" in the vineyards) and was supplemented by the Alsacian atmosphere of the restaurant. When we finished we viisted "Trois Epis" and made a short walk there.A wonderful day and a wonderful restaurant. We'll be back. All togetherThank you for your comments ! You came during a special period but whatever the offer, our chef works seasonal products. Martine, his wife, select the wines : she is a connoisseur and a wine lover. We are pleased that you enjoy it.

We went to spend the weekend in Colmar and decided to search for a restaurant on the way back to Switzerland, it is our way to actually taste the local cuisine. We didn't had a reservation but the staff was very kind to still get us a table on a Sunday. It was an amazing experience, the restaurant is beautiful, the staff was delightful and the food was amazing. There is a big window where you can see the chef working. Definitively a place to go when visiting Alsace. Thank you for the good experience
