The servers were friendly and efficient, but the food was pretty awful. I ordered a fish fry lunch plate--the fried fish was greasy and wet, the coleslaw tasted like it had been made weeks ago, and the fries were cold. Ugh.Good afternoon! This place was highly recommended and now I know why. There was a cute covered patio to enjoy the warming weather, the service was great (we had a server in training shadowing our server, he's going to be great). I ordered the salmon on baby potatoes, I could eat this dish weekly and not be tired of it, perfect sear on the outside, not overly sauced, sooooo good!Thank you for sharing your experience! Service very helpful and friendly. One of our meals was wrong but quickly corrected.Appetizer selection interesting and very good. Salads and burgers were very well prepared and tasted great. I was under the impression that the restaurant was open until 9:00. I arrived just after 8. The lights were on. Doors were open. But nobody home. No host/hostess or waitstaff. Completely empty. I waited a little while but nobody came out. So back to the hotel room I went. Ordered room service and the food was excellent!I had never heard of anything such as Quebec Poutine Tots and I am not sure what every ingredient was in it but it was delicious. The entree was just as good... Herbed chicken with risotto may not be the most adventurous item to order but it was amazing! Ate more than I should have. Portions were quite large. I wish I could have dined in the restaurant and viewed the river but I still feel myself lucky to have had such a memorable meal.
