The town is near the southern shore of Lough Neagh and is in the north-eastern corner of County Armagh. Lurgan is about 18 miles (29 km) south-west of Belfast and is linked to the city by both the M1 motorway and the Belfast–Dublin railway line. It had a population of about 23,000 at the 2001 Census. It is within the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district.

On holiday in the area visiting family and popped in for a drink. Was a bit nervous but the bar staff (ginger) was really nice and had good craic! Pineapple margaritas were gorgeous!! Had this place recommended to me so walked in, said hello to bar staff and looked for a table.“Could I have a pint of smithwicks please”“Are you full of drink”“I’m sorry”“Have you taken a load of drink”“No”“I think you have... I’m not serving you”So don’t bother. I don’t think they like serving people from outside of Craigavon.

Best carvery around. When we have been it's always busy but the food is alway fresh and great portion sizes. Good variety too including fish for non meat eaters. Have taken various family and friends and they all comment on how impressed they are with the quality of food and nice surroundings. Can’t praise the management and staff enough.We were made very welcome on entering the restaurant The staff were professional attentive with a smart appearance and take customer service to another level. My daughter who is wheat gluten and dairy free was catered for with ease offering tasty alternatives to the menu.
