After reading all the reviews we were really excited to go here for lunch.....and it did not disappoint! Amazing food and wonderful service. It was lovely to enjoy the food outside in the sun. It was so good weâve already booked to go back again later in the week!

Went for a meal for 4. One of our party cannot, for medical reasons, eat bloody steak. We asked for her steak to be more cooked than the Crown's standard medium rare. The chef refused point blank to cook anything other than medium rare as it would not taste as good. Who is the customer please? The chef feels he has the right to refuse to cook in the way a customer prefers! To rub salt in the wound steak order was changed to a beef burger and we were then asked how we wanted it cooked. Anything from rare to well done was fine for a burger. Astonished at the attitude to a customer's preference .

I just wanted to say thank you to you and all of your staff who looked after our party to celebrate my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. The help with organisation, even down to providing place cards was exemplary. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food,everything came out at the same time and was of a very high standard. No real gripes but no real pluses apart from the friendly staff. We were there on gloomy day and the room matched the weather. Probably a good place for a friendly pint of the excellent choice of ales.A bit dissapointing.

The food was extremely good! Everything was really lovely and tasty, with amazing flavours. Not your regular pub food FOR SURE. Very family friendly. Best brownie we have eaten in a long time. Staff all chatty and friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our midweek lunch here. The kids portions are in our opinion more Aimee towards the smaller kids. So you might want to order an extra side for bigger kids. Everyone was interactive with us through our entire lunch experience. Will come back for sure.
