lovely place, fantastic food. we had salad, clams in wine - absolutely superb - and fried octopus with papas arugadas - wrinkled patatoes.service was great - the waiter recommended against ordering more food, and recommended the dishes. place is really cosy and they clearly like their food and wine. did not order beef but the ageing cabinet looks stunning. really good place!!!

If you ever have enjoyed real italian food, this place does not come near it. Very poor food, unless you donât know better. I was all alone in this âristoranteâ and it was a mistake. Great location with a lot of potential, but no passion and no taste. People who like this place, sorry, but you have no clue...

We got there early for lunch on a Tuesday and we were lucky, by 2pm it was completely full and we wouldn't have found a table. They have some indoor tables and a very nice outside patio with views to the kitchen through a large window. I personally like having a view of the kitchen where I eat so this was a nice surprise. Since we are familiar with this tip of restaurant we knew what we wanted, camarones to start and some grilled fresh fish to share. We also ordered a "timbal de pulpo" to share which has a bed of mashed potatoes topped with octopus and sauce that turned out to be fantastic (see my pictures). The service was great. They were fast and changed the dishes and cutlery three times during our meal. We found it very well priced as well, with lunch for three people with wine included coming up at about 15-17 euros/person, and it was excellent quality and service. The location so close to the center is also ideal. We will certainly go back with friends.

We were told by the hotel this is the best restaurant in La Laguna an frankly I was going to title the review "pretentious rubbish" - but that would have been a bit harsh. The decoration is awful and the menus have a ridiculous colour coding with 14 allergens listed. The service is inept and the food is frankly just not very good.I had a decent cod but it was on a bed of dry potato and too-sweet onion; the burgers had decent meat but in buns that you would expect frozen in a 12-pack from a very cheap supermarket. Some decent ravioli had been fried (why?).Just not great.

This is a simple restaurant specializing in local cuisine. The food was really excellent and fantastic value. Overall the staff were friendly although the service was a little slow at the end as the restaurant had filled very quickly. We walked in without a reservation and there was no waiting time, however, given how busy they always seem to be reserving beforehand may be a good idea. This turned out to be the best meal of our holiday. Would recommend to anyone visiting La Laguna and would go back again.
