We were greeted by our waiter Fhan, with kind enthusiasm and shown a boothThe atmosphere was calm. Air conditioner just right and 70âs crooner music played in the background, just loud enough to hear but still be able to talk overI chose the 12 hour brisket (pictured) and my wife the sirloin steak The brisket is 7oz of meat and was cooked perfectly. Cut with a fork type of cooking and full of vegetables The sign next to the bar said IPA, however, it was just decoration. No IPA to be had All in all, my new favorite restaurant in CDO

What is interesting in this restaurant is that you can actually customize your food. First, you will choose among shrimpls, mussels, crabs, or fisherman's catch (combination), then you get to choose the flavor, and lastly, you can choose the level of spiciness.

Restaurant Damaso is an independent & unique dining scene here in the city serving fresh and local ingredients with an ambitious modern cuisine.
Open kitchen. It looked hip inside. But the menu they were hawking outside wasn't very inviting. But I read about it on PAL's inflight magazine and had to try it!I loved the calamari with ink mayo! The vongole was good but the clams were not what I usually have- it had that grainy sandy feel inside. Anyway, I didnt get sick afterwards so it was safe.Too bad they didnt have any of the ice cream available. Sikawate flavor turns out to be Chocolate- will try it next time.
It's Italian-Fusion cuisine, the earthy, organic and industrial concept design personally by the owner. It's perfect for date night, group and family hang out. And the food are all fresh and organic.
At one time, La Vetta was by far the best restaurant on CdO, south of Manila for that matter. We'd make excuses to drive from Dipokog to eat at La Vetta. But Carsten moved to Canada. Canada's gain, CdO's loss. Then for several years, nothing special. Circa 1850, with a few cooks and waiters trained by Carsten was the best of a so-so bunch. Now there's another real, world-class restaurant in CdO: Resto Freeno. Our first meal there. My spiced lamp cutlets had a better flavor than the rack of lamb at KRI, the top restaurant in Dumaguete (and at half the price). (The lamb meat itself was not as tender as at KRI, however.) My wife's salmon received nothing but praise from her, a harsh critic. The blueberry and chocolate gelato were flavorful and smoothe. GREAT meal. I'll be back for lunch tomorrow before we return home. COME. We will come back too as soon as possible.
you dont have to catch the attention of the waiters, before you fully raise your hand to call them, they are already hurrying towards you. Baked pampano was excellent. Lengua was very good. Brazzo was a surprise delight, it had some satisfyingly strange flavor, I discovered later it was the mix of salted eggs.Thank you so much. It was our pleasure serving you. Hope to see you again
