It had been YEARS since I'd handled a gun, but wanted to try out shooting as a hobby. My friend, suggested we go to the range. I was a bit uncomfortable with the magnitude of the realization that handling a weapon is a serious undertaking. The staff taught me proper handling and security measures, assisted with my selection of a weapon with which to practice, and ladies ALWAYS use the range for FREE!
