The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long, "Nine Dragon river delta" or simply Vietnamese: Đồng Bằng Sông Mê Kông, "Mekong river delta"), also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây) or the South-western region (Vietnamese: Tây Nam Bộ) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southwestern Vietnam of over 40,500 square kilometres (15,600 sq mi). The size of the area covered by water depends on the season. The region comprises 12 provinces: Long An, Đồng Tháp, Tiền Giang, An Giang, Bến Tre, Vĩnh Long, Trà Vinh, Hậu Giang, Kiên Giang, Sóc Trăng, Bạc Liêu, and Cà Mau, along with the province-level municipality of Cần Thơ.

During our 2 week vacation in Viet Nam and Cambodia, this was the most disappointing meal we had. Two people at my table ordered the bouillabaisse which was like no bouillabaisse any of us had ever seen. Definitely not a stew. My chicken dish was acceptable. The service was just okay. Just amazing. Our servers were so accommodating and their use of language was impeccable. Whoever trained them should get a medal. So impressed. Thank you Anh & Tu. My husband and I live in Haiphong now. We wanted Vietnamese food for lunch but not street style. This place definitely brings Vietnamese food to a sophisticated flavorful level. The service is excellent and so is the ambiance. We will definitely be bringing our family back.

I could not have loved this meal more. We arrived to a warm welcome and ordered a bottle of prosecco and an array of starters and mains. The service was impeccable throughout and it was one of the tastiest meals Iâve ever had. For 3 starters, 3 mains and a lovely bottle of prosecco, it came to just over £75 which for the quality, was great value. The waitress also had some great tips of places to go and things to do in the area which was much appreciated.
