Travellers in the beautiful Alsatian countryside, seek out "auberge", the little family inns that dot the roadsides, to eat well and enjoy the scenery. They know they will find fine food and glowing spirits, at an excellent value. Welcome to L"Auberge Che
Nestled in a beautiful country setting, this long-term very successful french country restaurant continues to earn excellent reviews. A recent quiet weekday luncheon was a return visit and met every expectation. The knowledgable server was prompt and ever present. He explained our dishes of interest and delivered on each recommendation. The braised wagu beef cheeks were fantastic, followed by beef tenderloin entree ..who said you can't have two beef dishes? It was that good! My better half enjoyed crepes , caesar salad (shared) and perfect salmon. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine and a shared bottle as well. Relax and enjoy..this is not fast food. Memborable! Highly recommend for family celebrations! Be prepared for minimum $75-$100 each.Thank you very much for your time.Chef Jacques

Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a more formal dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. Diners enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes accompanied by local wine in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.Jacq
What a lovely surprise for visitors to the area. Food was fabulous and it was a little snug for space but that only added to the ambience. This restaurant is a gem. Thanks for a great experience.

Bread was crunchy and hot out of oven just like in France. House Chardonnay and house Bordeaux were delicious. Chicken and mushrooms with bacon was excellent but the chicken was a little dry. Side sautéed spinach was perfect. Very homey and no fuss. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our evening at Cafe Montmartre, & we would recommend it! We had the spring rolls as an appetizer, & they were delicious. The hamburger was good with very tasty mushrooms, though the hamburger appeared to be a pre-formed patty vs. something made fresh at the restaurant. My wife said her quiche was very good, & my brother & his wife LOVED their dinners (both got the crab-stuffed shrimp). The service was a bit spotty -- our server was friendly, just not too attentive. And don't get a Margarita -- I felt like one, & they tried to make one (I guess few if any order Margaritas at Cafe Montmartre) -- but they weren't really sure what they were doing.
