Great place to spend the afternoon. Lots of shops and restaurants. Tommy Bahama, Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, etc. Great happy hour at the Hyatt Centric.

If you enjoy the outdoors and hiking and biking, try out the trails. The Mitchell preserve has multiple trails and connects with 13 miles of trail from creekside to grogan's mill... you will not believe you are in The Woodlands...

The Woodlands Mall is a great place to shop. It is easy to get to, Just off of I-45, north of Houston, and just south of Conroe. There is plenty of parking around the mall. There are plenty of stores and restaurants. Some of the stores are just outside of the main building, such as Barnes and Noble, and P F Chang's. I like the manmade canal around the mall. It's a nice touch of landscaping. Office buildings and hotels, such as Marriott, are nearby. The Woodlands is a well designed community in Montgomery County, Texas. The development covers hundreds of acres. It's just a pleasure to come here. I don't think the area was flooded by Hurricane Harvey in 2017, since The Woodlands is higher in elevation than most of the Houston metropolitan area (about 100 feet above sea level). I didn't see any sign of flood damage. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and the mall was packed with people. It seemed the place to go. I've been to the Galleria in Houston, and North Park Mall in Dallas, and to be honest, I like the Woodlands Mall better those other shopping centers. I also can't think of any other Mall around Houston that is nicer.
