Bird Island Park

After visiting this area for the last year I finally took the time to visit bird Island Park sanctuary in Ponta Vedra beach. It’s it’s own little world just next to the Ponte Vedra library and Winn-Dixie. Lovely small walking park that welcomes dogs and children too ( wonderful playground for kids). The boardwalk allows you to literally walk on water and observe birds in their natural habitat. Many of the trees are also marked as to what species they are; definitely deserves a stop to escape from every day life. Please be sure to keep your dog on the leash and pick up any special deliveries as well

Mickler's Landing Beach

Really nice beach with public entrance. Best to enter here and go to the right and camp out a good walk away from public access area. Less crowded. There are no life guards so be careful. Best at lower tides as it's safer. Right by the public access it's very crowded and the public bathrooms aren't great to say the least. But this beach is nicer then the Ponta Vedra Beach which is 30 minute walk away.

Ponte Vedra Beach

Probably one of the loveliest beaches I've ever seen. There are beautiful homes on one side, and the rolling Atlantic on the other. Great for collecting a wide array of sea shells or watching pelicans skim along the surface of the ocean. Perfect for long walks or a lazy day in the sun!
