This is an outstanding tribute to all who fought for the freedoms we enjoy. I highly recommend taking time to see this and then you can browse around the downtown area.

Small lake great for boating and fishing.
I and my wife Sabiha Sagri were visiting my son Tauqir Sagri, who moved to this location due to his work. “Love at first sight” was the befitting saying for us since the surroundings were fascinating and intoxicating! Watching this small lake from his apartment’s balcony, people enjoying the swimming and walking around and the sun rising till it is setting down were the captivating sights we will remember always. The lake is located about 35 miles west of Milwaukee and about 50 miles east of Madison and is a wonderful area for all watersports and fishing. It lies within the boundaries of the City of Oconomowoc, the Village of Lac La Belle. An 1154-acre lake with a maximum depth of 45 feet, this is a beautiful, shallow, weed-free lake with swimming beaches and launches for fishing, waterskiing, or just boating. A great family lake, it is a popular place to take the kids to enjoy the summer days and relish an evening concert at the bandshell. In short, Lac La Belle has an active summer tourist industry, with many summer cottages and resorts. The area has many dense forests and small mountains.
