I called here on a fairly gloomy/rainy day by it didn’t matter at all (with the right footwear and clothing) it’s still a great place to stretch your legs. The walking trail was good (not too strenuous) and lovely to get out in to hearing and seeing nature - also some good informative signs.

We camped at Thungutti for 2 nights. Had a thunderstorm on the first arvo, but it passed quickly. Toilet clean. Firewood and bbqs provided in all sites. Some have tables. Did one of the shorter walks called Tea Tree Falls. Had a dip in a small waterhole on the way. The view from the picnic ground 3km up the hill (drive to it) is amazing, goes all the way to the coast. Highly recommend if you love the bush and don’t want the crowds around Dorrigo.

Beautiful natural waterfall with a great swimming swimming hole, which is very accessible providing you are good on your feet. Many steps and some uneven ground to climb down and back up. Coffee cart, picnic tables and playground all near the car park.

An Old Fashioned Sweet Shop full with hard to find sweets from yesteryear. Creating memories for the young and bringing back nostalgia for the young at heart.
