This is a gorgeous site and is family friendly! My Kids Loved it, the bridge is amazing and I would encourage you to continue driving after walking the trail and viewing the damn to go on up to the overlook. It was amazing as well.

Definitely worth making an appointment to visit. Go to the website. The tour guide was very informative and spoke lovingly of Ernie. This was a very special experience for me since I was a fan from the fifties. I learned things I never knew about him. I took pictures of news articles since I didn't want to take anymore of the guides time than necessary. Went back to motel and watched episodes on you tube from tv shows and performances. A highlight of my stay in Bristol.

Clean restrooms, lots of brochures and nice people. They even have a Tennessee sign you can take selfies with.
