What was once a small souvenir shop in a thatched cottage on wheels is now the largest Irish store in the World. Located in the small village of Blarney which is famous for the Blarney Castle, Blarney Woollen Mills now occupies a space of 60,000 square ft and is a key feature of the renowned Irish village.
It was. 25 years since I had been here and I was so pleased to see so many new items and some of the things I loved most. You don’t want to miss a stop at Blarney Woollen Mills!

As I walked the village I noticed this quaint Catholic Church and as favorable circumstance would bear, I was in time for their Morning Mass. I was absolutely delighted to attend such a beautiful Mass, receive Communion, meet some of the Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity, and met a very nice woman named Rose. She gifted me music CDs and a fresh peach! I met other people there and I have to say they were all very kind and welcoming, wonderful examples of the charity exemplified by the greetings of St. Elizabeth and the Blessed Virgin Mother. Thank you my new friend Rose and the wonderful parishioners. Go raibh maith agat and Go Neiri on Bothar leat. Thank you and May the road rise with you.
