A nice fun brewery with a great selection of styles. They also have a distillery with whiskey and gin. Our favorite was the dark beers but the barrel aged sour was really tasty as well. A very nice outdoor area for better weather. Cheers !!!

Been here twice as we’ve driven through Blanco. They have beautiful Mexican artisanal blouses. Had to buy three, couldn’t decide which one I loved more. Two were quite pricey, but given the detail of the work, I think it’s worth it. They have an abundance of different items, it be even more terrific if some of their items from various countries were fair trade certified. I highly recommend a visit!

The Old Blanco County Courthouse was built in 1885. It was only used as a courthouse for 4 short years. The County Seat moved to Johnson City in 1889. The Old Blanco County Courthouse is owned by The Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society, a 501 (c) (3). The mission of the O.B.C.C.P.S. is to restore, preserve, and maintain the Old Blanco County Courthouse as an historic site, and as a productive integral part of the community of Blanco. Dedicated members and friends give and work for the full restoration and care of this jewel from the Gilded Age of Texas Courthouses. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10 to 4 and on Sunday from 12 to 3.
This is a building with a lot of history. There are pictures along the walls inside that tell about all the things that the building was used after the years that it was a courthouse.

We stopped by looking for some specific items, but always buy something at these kinds of stores. This particular store is huge with a downstairs area. The gentleman at the counter was very nice when we entered and it took over an hour to look at all the goodies. If you like shopping thru antique stores then you'll love shopping here.
