Visited on a family holiday in August. You need to show up at the gate at given hour. This is no "anytime entry, wonder by yourself museum" but active military base, where the whole group needs to be escorted at all times. Great Bastogne siege display/reconstruction, very knowledgable tour guide (a sargeant in Belgian army), then the main attraction - huge garage with all the great tanks and armoured vehicles. My boys were so happy. A must do for any World of Tanks player. The price of entry is very low - 8 EUR per adult (card payment only), kids go free! Excellent!!!

This star shaped memorial with all the 50 states wrapped around it is a tribute to the men and women, because women also died in WWII, who came here, faught here and ended their lives here so that the world would be a better place for everyone. As a soldier and has a daughter, whose Father fought here and returned, We should All honor our fallen. We came in winter to remember what it was like 75 years ago, in this cold winter days.

Great innitiative to commemorate the suffering of troops and civilians during the battle of the Ardennes, (The bulge ) siege of Bastogne Dec 1944/ jan 1945. I appreciated the cleaniness of the place and the information panels of other places, martyr places of WW2

Best point to meet with tour guides/start tours, or begin to see the town. Lots of restaurants located on this square including a small visitor center. Also an easy place to park, albeit paid parking. The Sherman tank at edge of the square is easy to spot and was itself knocked out during the battle here, worth seeing though. Great spot to jump off into seeing Bastogne and the surrounding countryside.
