Sub shop ads always show a ton of meat and condiments, until you are served, and it is on flat layer of thinly sliced meat. Firehouse custom makes your sandwich, with a quantity that looks like their ads. Service is prompt, the restaurant is clean, and they have a good concept. I like the grilled brisket and cheese. The unique trick Firehouse uses is that they steam the entire sandwich, which adds to the flavor, I wish they had fries.

So far, this is the best Chinese restaurant Iâve discovered in St. Louis since moving from KC where I loved Bo Lings. The kung pao chicken and Shanghai Angus steak are both really tasty dishes and so is the fried rice. Prices are very reasonable and the line moves really fast so if time is short, this is a good bet because you can get in and out fast. I actually like the food here more than at many much more expensive places.

In the fall of 2012, this McDonalds renovated the store and made the playplace room smaller, and as a result removed some of the playground. There are 2 large enclosed slides, and some "look out" spots. It's 2 stories high. It was as clean as you'd expect from an indoor McDonalds playplace. It's suitable for preschoolers and young school-aged children. There is a restroom in the playplace room, but there is no changing table in it. I do like the new architectural design where there are horizontal bars across the outside of the upper windows, as it keeps a lot of the sun out, so the playplace is not so hot, and the sun doesn't come in and blind you while you are eating. There are only a few tables in the playplace now though and most only seat a couple people. There is one table with high stools so that young children are higher and closer to the table which is kind of neat. There is a tv in the playplace showing Nick Jr. I've been in this McDonalds several times recently and each time there are employees out in the dining room cleaning.

Experience unique, drive-in dining with made-to-order food and more than 1.3 million drink combinations.
You can either do "drive through" here (like at Wendy's, McDonald's, etc. where you place your order and drive through to get your order at a window and then leave) or park and order like at a 1950's style drive-in (which I will call "drive-in" where you actually stay in the drive-in lane/bay to actually eat). Nice to have that choice. Sort of nostalgic. We did "drive-in" here for lunch recently. Hot dogs were delicious, actually among the best I've had in the recent past. However, the fries my grandson had were only average as he only ate part of them and he always finishes them if they're really good. Other negative is that the drive-in service took at least 15 minutes which is way, way longer than it should take to do a simple order of normal items for only 3 people. Prices were typical for fast food and thus 3 stars for value. Based on the taste of the hot dogs alone, would rate 4 stars, but the slow service and average fries takes the overall rating down to 3.
