We were only in Kelsterbach for two nights. A local recommended this restaurant. We had just arrived in Germany that day and had never had Turkish food so we gave it a try. WE LOVED IT!! So much that we ate there the next night too. We got the lamb kabobs with rice and salad. And also, the lamb chops with rice and salad. Both were fantastic. Great cold beer and hot Turkish tea. There were about 4 or 5 men working there and one spoke some English (and all were very friendly). There is also a big menu outside with photos of the dishes. That saved me as I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise. Do not hesitate to try this place!! I wish I could give it 10 stars!!

Finally there is an alternative to all the sweet and calory loaded stuff in airports! At Meyer they make you fresh juices on the spot, with the ingrediences you choose Salads are fresh, quality price relation for airport very good. Service a bit slow at times, they have a weired system to clean the tables. Buckets to discharge and recycle would be an option instead of sending someone around collecting the stuff from the tables. Enjoyed my meal and the choice very much. Will get back :-)

Meyer Feinkost is the airport affiliate of the famous Meyer downtown. This airport affiliate has a different menu than the downtown restaurant, in any case, great sandwiches and some great soups to choose from before departing.

I don't know what anyone would rate this less than at least a four. The place is huge, the food is good and the prices outstanding. This is not a fine dining or Konditorei. It is McDonald's and far above the normal McDonald's we are used to. There is a decent selection of pastries, some of the usual sandwiches and a few different ones. The place fills up quick and everyone's seems to like this place. It may be incorrectly listed. It is the only McDonald's in Terminal 1 and located by the rental car area. On the LOWER level. There is wifi available although it is the airport wifi but it is free. It did NOT show up on TripAdvisor for location.
