Girona (Catalan pronunciation: [ʒiˈɾonə], Spanish: Gerona [xeˈɾona]) is a province of Spain, in the northeastern part of the autonomous community of Catalonia. It is bordered on the northwest by the province of Lleida, on the southwest by the province of Barcelona, on the north by France, and on the east by the Mediterranean Sea.

A yogurt icecream and jams factory in the countryside in La Garrotxa volcanoes area, giving employment to people with disabilities or mental health problems. Well set up for visitors, the tour takes you to meet the cows and calves before showing you the yogurt production line and the place where the preserves are prepared and cooked. It ends with a short film and a tastings tray per person. A shop of all products on site. Tours in Catalan, one per day in Castilian, one of the guides speaks English so can summarise if necessary. Necessary to book ahead but no problem getting places on the tour.
Porcs Casolans Corominas it's a third generation family business dedicated to ecological pig-farming and the production of homemade cold meat.
