We were staying across the street at the Pedasi Sports Club and had this place bookmarked to try. A bit hard to find, but worth it. Very small, so reservations recommended. Very reasonable price for the quality. My red snapper entree was delicious and about $13. Wife and son liked their pastas for around $10. Daughterâs $8 salmon salad had unexpected cold smoked salmon on it, but still good. Spanish wine was $26 for a bottle. Was treated to a bit of dark chocolate and Amaretto at the end. One of my top 1-2 meals in 10 days in Panama.

The restaurant is located in the Villa Romana Hotel
The Cabana we stayed in was huge and beautiful. The A/C worked well and the bedding was super comfortable. Full ocean view right out our front door. When we checked in the staff was super aloof and just pointed us to our room not showing us anything about the room That was pretty much our experience with the staff the entire time. Basically the grounds, view, pools, and room for the price were top notch. Our shower water was truly at a trickle and was cold. The gardner was watering grass outside. I am guessing our cabana was at the end of the water train. I had just soaped up when the water stopped completely. I waited for almost 10minutes as the soap caked onto me. Finally I grabbed my swimsuit and jumped in the pool to get the soap off. The service was quite horrible. We ate both dinners here as this place is down a dirt road and not super close to other restaurants. The food was average to good, the prices moderate, the service painfully slow. This extended from the wait staff to the kitchen staff. When you get your drink order in 15 minutes after ordering and then wait another hour for your dinner, this is not OK. It was not even that busy. There was a lot of staff just standing around chit chatting. We ordered a rum and coke at pool.
Where to eat Italian food in Pedasi: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We were staying in Las Tablas and went exploring south of Pedasi. We stopped here without any prior information about this restaurant but we were very happy that we did. The food is excellent, (try a desert crepe) and the service very good as well. Very reasonable prices.
Restaurant is on the road to Playa Toro, there is a sign on left side of road. Shipping container houses the coffee shop. Seating is bar stools or outside seating. The owner Dennis is very knowledgeable about coffee. His culinary skills are also apparent by the delicious Belgium waffle with chocolate and bananas. At night you can try his craft beers. While you are there you can purchase coffee also. Very friendly atmosphere.
The chef is very personable and eager to please. Very varied menu. The seating is under the trees which is so relaxing and nice for a summer lunch. My grilled fish was excellently prepared and my green salad was fresh and large. My husband enjoyed his pork sandwich and commented his fries were great. Our friends also liked their choices. We will definitely be coming back.
