Earlsdon Supper Club is a weekly immersive culinary experience, bringing people together through food, art and music. Serving innovative modern dishes in an informal and sociable setting.
Super Supper Club,..... a unique dining experience (unique to Coventry at least). Could this be the future to unique and intimate dining - the kicker is you spend an evening with total strangers, with a menu you don't see until you arrive, unless of course you went as a group of 8 then of course you would know all the other guests. This is a different dining experience, escaping the hum-drum, franchised dining experiences up and down the high streets of most town centres. If you want a team of waiters pandering to your every whim, this is not for you.If you want a booking for a larger groups (max 8ish maybe 10 at a push you would need to ask), this is not for you.If you want to just drop in on Tuesday then this is not for you.If you want a menu with 100 items on it then it is not for you.So what is the Earlsdon Supper ClubYou get Tobias, in his own home running the Kitchen and serving / hosting you, its a dinner party without knowing the host or the other diners. The menu is fixed, it is whatever Tobias is serving, and that's the attraction.Tobias sources local seasonal produce some of it from his own allotment (can't get fresher) and serves up a relaxed, yet very professional range of exciting courses from a young guy who has taught himself.Tobias is still new to this and is seeking feedback and approval for his food, but he should worry not, the food served throughout the evening was excellent, with a fine dining feel about it. Although Tobias is just starting out and only offering single nights, usually Saturday evenings (prior arrangement only) he is I believe serving up some of the best food in the city.Congratulations and thanks for a great evening, Paul Tracey & Christopherps thanks also to our other diners, we had plenty of interesting conservation throughout the evening, a real pleasure.Thank you, it was a pleasure cooking for you all. I hope to see you again soon.

The Cross, Kenilworth is a pub restaurant serving excellent food, cooked by award winning chefs. The Cross started out as an inn back in the 19th century and was recently refurbished to reveal its original features. Expect a warm welcome, friendly service
Having visited midweek for a set menu lunch I thought that this restaurant was nice enough for a birthday celebration. They have received their first Michelin Star this year and our party could see why. The attention to detail is excellent, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, the Sunday Lunch a la carte menu offered is excellent and the food was exquisite. The drinks menu is the most comprehensive I have ever seen, with a lovely range of virgin cocktails and non alcoholic drinks for anyone driving. I really could not recommend it highly enough and hope that this is the first of many visits for special occasions.

I must have missed a couple of questions from the waitress, maybe:âWould you like half a tub of mayonnaise under your burger so that it spills all over the place?âAnd, âwould you like your fries undercooked and all in one big clump?âOut of 6 people everyone left nearly half their meal. And at least 3 of them reported stomach ache all afternoon. Itâs nowhere near good enough.I suspect the self-proclaimed praise on the wall is from people that have never eaten anywhere else. âBest in townâ apparently. If I was you Tom, i wouldn't bother going out as you don't have a nice thing to say about anywhere, looking at all your other reviews!!!! Are you sure the stomach ache that three of your friends had, wasn't due to spending an afternoon with you??
