Visited on a Saturday afternoon and had a table on the terrace directly on the Markt. Very friendly and speedy service. The food was first class and very good selection of wine. Well worth a visit

Typisch italienische Speisekarte mit zusätzlich saisonalen Gerichten (Muscheln, Steinpilze). Die hausgemachten Calamari überraschten ein wenig, da diese im Eimantel serviert wurden. Neu, aber lecker. Die Muscheln kamen in einer WeiÃweinsauce mit viel roten Zwiebeln und Knoblauch an den Tisch. Super! Das Fleischgericht bestand aus drei groÃen Rindermedallions mit frischen Steinpilzen, Nudel- und Salatbeilage und war ebenfalls delikat. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Schönes Ambiente. Bei schönem Wetter auch AuÃenterrasse. Bedient wurden wir vom sehr zuvorkommenden und netten Inhaber. Jederzeit und sehr gerne wieder!

The Kaiserpfalz in Fritzlar is a nicely located Restaurant (annex hotel) in the old city of Fritzlar. Nice sitting area and also a small terrace on the street side. They have a well considered limited choice of food. We were with three people there for a business talk. We all ordered something different. All three dishes were perfect. Served in about 15 minutes after ordering. Very hot. The service is OK. Motivated staff. Mains between EUR 9 and EUR 15, so price worth. For me it was the best German food experience I had until now in Nordhessen. And last but not least: they really serve a good coffee (Cappuccino, espresso)

Wir führen zum 2 mal hin. Beim ersten Mal hatten sie noch zu aber die 5 Minuten hatten sie uns in den Gasthof lassen koennen. Heute waren wir da wurden uns mitgeteilt das es keine Möglichkeit gebe essen zubereiten wegen einer Jahreshauptversammlung. Am Eingang hatten sie doch nur fuer eine geschlossen Gesellschaft aushängen koennen.Ich fand die Art und Weise nicht würdig fuer ein Restaurant. Am besten vorher anrufen ob sie überhaupt an den Tag offen haben und ggf. Essen servieren
