I am one of many students who were lucky enough to call Warsaw home and to graduate from Warsaw Institute Of Technology. I have been in this wonderful space almost daily and it was always a delight to pass through the main door and few steps later pass through the marvelous, symmetric polygonal, light filled space embraced by a palatial staircase and series of galleries around it, crowned with the stained glass ceiling capping it all from above. I highly recommend to visit this off the beaten path sample of Warsaw's architecture. Bring wide angle camera and a telephoto too to zoom into fragments you like.
Every two weeks we meet in a cafe in the center of Warsaw to practice Spanish and Portugues. If you are a native speaker of any of these languages and you happen to be in Warsaw on Thursday, feel free to catch up with us. This is a great opportunity to meet locals, talk to them in your own language, ask about anything considering life in Warsaw and Poland, have few drinks with a discount and then head together for a party :)We meet around 7 p.m. and usually talk for about 2 hours in a mixed groups. Than we go to a club.
