Discover Restaurants offering the best Eastern European food in Tirana, Tirana County, Albania. Tirana, the Republic of Albania's largest city, is blessed with a mild Mediterranean climate, a plethora of beautiful churches and lush parks. Founded in 1614, some striking Mussolini-era architecture dots the city center. Walk between sights such as Skanderbeg Square's 1789 Et'hem Bey Mosque, the 1830 Sahat-Kulla (Clock Tower) and the Puppet Theater, once home to King Zog's puppet parliament. Visit the Peace Bell, built with old cartridge shells, a reminder of Tirana's stormy past.

Tek Zgara Tirones, a cozy restaurant very close to the center. This restaurant offers a variety of delicious Albanian, Mediterranean traditional cooking and not only. With a specialized staff, we make sure that our costumers spend a nice time with us. For
Food was great, service was rude. I had a bottle of water on the table and the waiter didnât like this, so without asking me, took it upon himself to pour it into a dirty glass and try and take my bottle from me with an attitude. This is a country where tap water is not drinkable throughout, so I find this incredibly rude. Especially as it is listed as a cheap eat and not 5* dining. He also decided to hand me the bill before I had even finished half my plate. No words or eye contact exchanged throughout. The rudest service I have experienced in a long time!

This is an affordable cafe that serves authentic Albanian food in Tirana, Albania. The Raci is delicious- maybe too delicious! My favorite thing about this cafe is the common table, where you can chat with people from all parts of the world! But if you want your own table, that is also available!

We received lively customer service from the staff at this establishment, they were entertaining and helpful and also got us quotes for transfers on the next leg of our journey, talk about customer service and hospitality!! Now in to the food, the veg meatballs are a traditional local dish and they were absolutely delicious! The Mousaka was so good we ordered a second helping!! I would recommend a visit to this little gem, for an enjoyable, authentic and yummy evening!

Estia Restaurant, a romantic and cozy villa with a spacious patio adorned in a smoothing harmony of flowers, trees and shade, evokes a Tirana of time long past. The chef's masterful yet scientific approach to cuisine ensures that every single dish you ord
I recently visited this restaurant for the second time. Both times, the food and service were outstanding. The location of the restaurant is probably not an advantage. It is not in the main entertainment areas of Tirana - and it can be a bit difficult to find. It is worth the effort! The atmosphere is very comfortable. Many of Tirana's leading restaurants cater to the country's corrupt elites - and their décor matches the tastes of their clients (think Balkan Baroque). Fortunately, Estia favors clean lines, light and subtlety in decoration. There is a small room surrounded by glass on three sides which makes for a very pleasant place to have lunch in the middle of winter. As a starter, my two friends and I each had shrimp wrapped in bacon/panceta and served in a reduction of balsamic vinegar. It is not on the menu, but the chef has been making it for years in various restaurants he has operated. On most days, he can accommodate a special order. Along with the starters, we were served an assortment of homemade breads, which were delicious and fresh. All of us were very satisfied. The main courses were also delicious. The duck with berries and sweet potato puree was outstanding, as were the mushroom ravioli and the lamb ribs with almond and herb crust. The portions were not large, but fully sufficient - and left room for dessert. For dessert, we chose kadaif with condensed milk. It was very sweet, but also very satisfying! The chef also makes excellent chocolate soufflé.The waiters were attentive and friendly. The restaurant was impeccably clean.Overall, the restaurant was expensive by Tirana's standards, but the price is fully acceptable in view of the quality offered. By standards of other cities in Europe or America, this is still a bargain.
I visitet kosherja on august this year, the location is perfect also the service, the food it a mix with tradition and modern (modern name in menu but typically dish in taste), the prices are little bit expensive compare with the quality of foods offered and other restaurant of the same type.
