Ive been here twice now and i cant speak highly enough about this place. Its always busy and we had heard good things before going ourselves so we had high expectations. Every single member of staff have been so friendly and accommodating on both visits, quickly finding us tables and making room for my pram and bringing a seat for my toddler. The servers were so lovely to my daughter, got her comfortably seated and brought crayons to keep her occupied Our orders were taken and the good arrived in no time at all. Portion sizes very generous and food was delicious- can recommend any of the breakfasts, really tasty! The meals are very reasonably priced. We have recently moved to the area and we will most definitely be back.

...but unfortunately, this didn't change my mind. Can't fault the staff, but the food....let's say you'd probably get better, even at the Linen House down the road (another franchise). Nice clean bright premises, with ample free parking - popular with families. Maybe I should have chosen something other than the steak, which was tough as old boots - not the best cut & a real challenge for my molars. The wine isn't cheap either. They would need to fix the seating as well, as the woman sat behind me - I don't know what she was doing - but every time she jumped about in her seat, it jolted me. We tried it out ourselves after she left & same thing - the seat is loose & needs fixed.

Eddie Rockets a unique American style diner operating nationwide. Customers love Eddie Rockets because the food is freshly cooked to order each and every time.
I visited with my family (two other adults and two children) on Saturday 6th July at around 3.30 pm.I would say at this point the restaurant was around half capacity. The restaurant - as I would expect - was spotless and well laid out. After being shown to our booth we waited a bit longer than I would expect to have our order take - no big deal in itself. We ordered our food and drinks - apart from an upgrade on the tender basket from a regular drink to a milkshake there was nothing complicated about the order. The waitress who took our order, read it all back and it was fine at this stage. However when the waiter brought our drinks down he handed me a coke zero with the comment 'I think it's coke zero, you'll be ok anyway as long as you're not diabetic and if it's wrong you can leave a bad review'. I actually am diabetic and I am horrified that he made such a throwaway comment about a condition that can be quite serious. The milkshake that we had ordered off the kid's menu (vanilla) came as a regular milkshake (which is far too big for a three year old). The regular milkshake (oreo) came as a child's size, one milkshake order was fine and he brought two regular coke instead of one. I was far from impressed and told him the order was wrong - instead of dealing with this he made the comment "I'll take them back and see what I can do. They mightn't change the milkshakes cos they're made up". No, I'm sorry you'll take them back and bring what we ordered. I could hear him talking about us to the waitress who took our order. He returned to the table with the correct child's milkshake but a diet coke! A diet coke was not ordered at any point but he argued that we had ordered it. I sent him back with them again. By this stage he was complaining loudly about us - we had done nothing other than try to order a meal! My daughter in law went up and asked for the manager and had started to explain why we were unhappy and didn't appreciate the diabetic comment and how it could have been dangerous for me to drink full sugar coke when the waiter interrupted saying "Well one of you could have tasted it for her". I was absolutely stunned at this comment - how about he brings the correct drink in the first place. The manager continued to allow this member of staff to insult us and at this stage I just told my family that we were leaving.I have never in my entire 53 years ever been treated so appallingly in somewhere that I had chosen to go and spend my own money for the experience. I've thought about it over the entire weekend and am stunned that this person even works in a customer facing job - he really has no idea how to speak to a customer with any kind of complaint! The manager was no help whatsoever and just allowed the waiter to continually butt in.I was so disappointed at this experience but we decided to go on to Eddie Rockets in Boucher Road - our normal restaurant - and we had a great meal. Everything as ordered and the usual perfect service.I will never go back to your Lisburn Restaurant - in fact I am embarrassed to say I have ever been.I would suggest some staff retraining before this waiter loses you any more customers.
