We had stopped for Breakfast at Mc Mahon's Family Restaurant one morning. It was the first time for us and late morning it seemed fairly quiet.The restaurant is a bit run down and not the cleanest place, which didn't bother us, but may bother others. We seated ourselves and it took some time for staff to come to us. We had ordered coffees, which came in HUGE mugs, and ordered our meals. Others had come in after us, and we had noticed that their orders came out before ours, so that was strange, but our food did eventually come out. Breakfast servings were quite large and we could not finish them. Food was as expected and tasted fine. We had finished our coffee early and no one followed up to see if we had wanted more.By the time we finished, the bill was dropped off at our table and I paid at the register. Prices were good for what we ordered.

Husband and step daughter had brunch here and we each enjoyed our meals: Eggs Benedict with a fabulous hollandaise sauce. Also cheese omelette. Delicious home fries and toast came with. Prompt service! Cute decor and quiet atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. Breakfast and lunch menus. Heard they make a great Reuben.

Would never have stopped at the Sunshine Café had it not been for the TripAdvisor reviews. More colorful and funky on the outside than the interior, which is small and rather nondescript with tables and booths jammed together. Still, the staff is welcoming and attentive, and most patrons appear to be regulars. The menu offers a good selection of breakfast choices that tend to be larger than what you should normally eat and also probably not that healthy, at least on a regular basis. But indulge we did. The food was good, the prices reasonable, and the clientele enjoyable â almost like joining an extended family.

Found this gem on TripAdvisor. After reading the reviews, I knew me & family had to try during our visit to Niagara Falls...we are so glad we did! It was so good, we went back again! Very friendly staff, BIG portions, great food! If we are in the area again, we will be back!

I usually have a decent experience going to this location...But this is the last time until things change...Sat down and waited as the wait staff past by us no one saying I'll be right with you...Finally someone took the drink order..We ordered our food and waited a long time to get our breakfast..The only thing warm was the scrambled eggs..I had ordered a side order of toast..Which never came until I asked for it..I was practically done eating when it arrived and was basically bread some pieces were buttered others weren't...The one waitress obviously doesn't like working there because it appeared that we were obviously taking up her time for break..the other waitress mouthed the words "what the f@#! as she walked by...I used to enjoy going in when there was a younger waiter and he was always pleasant..the only person on this visit that was nice was the guy at the front taking out bill to pay...So disappointed in their lack of customer service!
