Stopped in here for breakfast recently on a friend's recommendation. Great menu options, and reasonably priced. The chili is fantastic, so order any egg sandwich that comes with chili.Only downside: One sandwich came with mayonnaise, which that wasn't indicated on the menu. Not a good surprise.Thank you for stopping by. We are pleased you enjoyed it. What sandwich did you order ?

Stopped in for lunch based on attractive exterior...inside decor also impresses, as does extensive & creative menu. However, service so lackadaisical (just don't care?) and kitchen likewise (meals 'piping hot' when finally served) that we wouldn't revisit. Some management 'oversight' should easily make this a winner on all levels. For now, a disappointment ;-(Hi wildswanDelaware - We're sorry you didn't have a great experience but appreciate you taking time to leave us a review. We'd like a chance to make things right!

Stayed at the adjacent hotel. Found this place to be delightful. Great atmosphere. Good food. Very clean. Both the quality of food and the prices are slightly above normal diner fare. A great place.Tom, thank you for stopping in while in town. We are happy to read you enjoyed our food and we hope to serve you again the next time you are in town!

Located in the heart of Greenwich on Greenwich Avenue since the 1920's. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed. This a great place to grab a quick bite and enjoy some amazing comfort food.
We dropped into Putnam Restaurant based on recommendation from a local resident. The vintage storefront is gateway to an authentic diner that features a counter, booth and sunlit dining area in the rear. Breakfast is served all day long but you can get lunch and dinner fare as well as wine by the bottle. Our server was Debbie who really rocks! She knows how to hustle and kept us well served from start to finish. We tried the Angus burger and pancakes with home fries cooked the way they should be and hardly ever ate elsewhere. Everything was delicious!!

We go to Lucky's at least once a month, sometimes more. The salads are the best we've had in Stamford, and the burgers are great. Lots of variety with the burgers--beef, salmon, veggie, Kobe beef, etc. Service is friendly and timely; outdoor eating area is wonderful in the summer months. Great place to go when the grandchildren visit.
