My daughters and I came in and sat at the counter. The waitress, Angie, was prompt and very friendly. She talked with us the whole time were there and suggested some places we should see in town and the outskirts of town. The food was good and filling. Our orders were accurate. I would definitely stop again when in town.

The Waffle House was a disappointment. I expected decent breakfast fare at okay prices. What I got was poor breakfast fare at decent prices. The waffles seemed to the quality of Eggo Waffles. Essentially, toaster waffles with mediocre syrup. Ugggh! The eggs were rubbery and the picante provided was horriawful! Just terrible. The coffee was only passable. The one bright side was the sunny and delightful service. It was timely and willing to give refills, but it cannot make up for sub-par food and ingredients. I will not darken the door of another Waffle House again as the experience was truly that bad.

Located in an old time drug store, the Sidewalk Cafe retains a lot of the charm of days gone by. I felt a bit like I had stepped back in time to my childhood when places like this were still dispensing medicine and sandwiches side by side. The burger with hand cut fries was excellent - nice and juicy on a soft bun. The one thing I would recommend is to get the real soda fountain working. A chocolate egg cream would had made things perfect.

After checking Trip Advisor, and reading the great reviews, my sister and I headed over to Fairport Family Restaurant for an early dinner. It was better than we even imagined. The food was all homemade and delicious. Our dinners came with soup and a salad and the portions were beyond generous. I had the beer battered haddock, one of the daily specials. My sister had meatloaf. We were both deliriously happy with our choices. The prices are great, especially my sisters meatloaf, as it was from the 'senior' section. Finally I must say, our server, Kelsey was the icing on the cake! She is absolutely the happiest, kindest, most efficient server I have ever had.
