What a great restaurant. Old school food and memorabilia from the 50s and 60s. The food was excellent. We had the Bratwurst and the burger. The bratwurst was very tasty and the burger was stuffed with cheese inside. The food was very good and the pecan chocolate pie and homemade ice cream were perfect. Thank you for the step back in time. A nice memory.

Finally stopped in here today after passing it for 6 years every time we go thru Manitou. Decor is plain trending towards kitschy. Menu is typical. My wife had chicken fried steak (decent) and I had the chili rejenos (okay). Everything was made exactly as requested though, including eggs over medium and extra crispy of the hash browns.Hostess and our server are clearly pros. (I almost said old pros, but neither was above 25.) kept things moving at the front of the house and with the checkout. Server let us know the food would take a couple extra minutes because the kitchen was just pumping out all the orders for the Ft Carson troops. Kept our coffees refilled just before they hit the bottom. There are better places around town, but you won't regret checking this one out.

My husband and I stayed across the road from Moâs so we knew that we had to try it. We were greeted by very friendly staff. Our food was quick out to our table and it was awesome! The only drawback is, they donât take cards - cash and checks.

The Garden of the Gods is one of those must-see Colorado locations, full of gorgeous landscapes and fun things for the family to enjoy. It is also home to the nearby Black Bear Diner, where families have come for delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere f
We ate at the Black Bear Diner for dinner on our last night in Colorado Springs. They were not very busy at all but service was so slow. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The wait time before our order was taken was about average. It took right around 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. Then part of the order was wrong. I was not impressed with the taste or the quality of the food.

We decided to stop in for a quick bite before our trip to the wolf sanctuary, we were not impressed at all, will not be back. Coffee wasnât good, weirdest biscuit Iâve ever eaten and the scrambled eggs were awful.
