I was advised by friends to order my steak (filet) med-rare to receive a medium one. It arrived closer to med-well but was delicious and the meat quality compared to better steakhouses Iâve been to, North America or otherwise. The ambiance was different but not off putting. Close to a highway with plenty of outside seating spaces. Half of the restaurant was newly built, bathrooms were spotless and service very good. 3-4 different waiters served our group of 4 throughout the evening which was neither a plus or minus in my book that evening. My meal consisted of Caesar salad, Filet Mignon with sides (all good) and desert. Three non-alcoholic drinks as well. Cost incl tip: CZK800.I will return when I will be able to sit outside for a steak directly from the outside bbq. 8/10 experience for me.

Quite expensive in local terms, which unfortunately is not fully compensated by the served food. Located in the main square of the town and next to the castle, this restaurant offers both inside and outside seating. The food itself did the job but was not spectacular by any chance. However, most likely there is not a better substitute around so if you are into Czech cuisine, this is probably the place to go in the centre of Roudnice. Expect an average experience.

Lighthouses are the theme here, I guess since it is right by the might Elbe/Labe river which is accessible directly under the train tracks. It is a little off the beaten path and frequented by locals, but the patio may be full on the Summer weekends, usually with German bicyclists.Majak has a daily special menu as well as a standard menu with a few classic Czech dishes and more. They make a pretty good "shopsky" salad, chicken steaks with your choice of style whether it be with ham and cheese, mushroom sauce, or "picante." The beef and pork chops have the same styles available as well as a Majak special. Majak also has pizza and pasta for the kids. Portions are pretty large but outside of the hotels that the average around Czech. My menu advice is to stick to the items on the menu that do not sound too exotic like "Asia."The service is typical European but the cold draft Czech beer will make you forget.Decor is very kitschy as it is mostly lighthouses.
JÃdlo mÄ po pÅedchozÃch zkuÅ¡enostech mile pÅekvapilo. Bylo dobré. Milá obsluha a po té co se pÅestalo kouÅit to už nenà taková prokouÅená putika.

In the centre of the town. When you step in, you get on a terrace where we stayed. Ordered Rome Pizza and it was really very good pizza for good money. Also beer was good. Service was OK. I can't review other food, haven't had.
