Kahului is a census-designated place (CDP) on the island of Maui in the U.S. state of Hawaii. It hosts Maui's main airport (Kahului Airport), deep-draft harbor, light industrial areas, and commercial shopping centers. The population was 26,337 at the 2010 census. Kahului is part of the Kahului-Wailuku-Lahaina Metropolitan Statistical Area which includes nearby Wailuku and the town and former whaling village of Lahaina.

This is a great loop to add to your Maui visit! Loop leaves from Kahului Harbor every hour starting at 11:30 am till 4:00 pm Hop aboard the Hula Hula Hopper Trolley and learn a little history as we travel along the historic North Shore. Stops include world famous Kiteboard beach (Kanaha), sugar museum, the groovy old plantation town of Paia, plus two of the best beaches in the area for body boarding, playing in the sand, and catching a sun tan! Hop on and off the trolley at any of the stops along the way. This is a good and inexpensive way to do the Haleakala sunset tour with audio narrative of things to see along the way to the mountain top. Good value for the price. A quick tip: this app burns through your phone battery fast so having a car phone cable is a must or else your phone battery will run out of juice pretty quick...

Phenomenal tour!!! If you are going to take this trip and Roger is your guide you are in for a fantastic journey. He is the BEST! Not only is he incredible knowledgeable about all things of the island but his personality is off the chain! He loves what he does and it shines through in everything he says and does! It was one of the best days I have had in years! We have taken the tour a couple times over the years but we will NEVER do it again without Roger!!!! Thanks again for a fantastic and memorible day!!!
