The car park is a little tatty and the outside of the bar/restaurant is unprepossessing, but don't be put off. The inside is charming, sub divided into smaller eating areas with imaginative "partitions" such as loose blinds which give an intimate feeling while not detracting from the overall atmosphere of the place. Our party had ordered some fizz in advance and on arrival, the staff were ready for us, in a friendly and attentive but not overbearing manner. We were there for lunch. Most had scallops to start (3 on the plate which at a tenner was good value) and I had sea food pasta - all very tasty and well presented. They do an Italian take on a roast dinner, 3 different meats, Yorkshires and roast vegetables on a platter for 2 to share. We were offered beef as a 4th meat which we took up for an additional cost but our greedy pair, as delicious as the platter was, were unable to finish it. The potatoes, while roasted are not quite like English roast spuds, this is not a criticism just an observation that they were perfectly cooked but not so crispy on the outside as is the Italian way. I had mixed fried fish, delicious and something you rarely see in England. Our party also had rib eye steaks which were (as they can be) a little fatty. Puds are wonderful with the option of having small portions if you wish. They all looked like something from Masterchef. Service was charming , not the quickest but you don't go here for a quick in and out fuel stop. The food prices are extremely reasonable. As someone who doesn't eat out much mainly because it tends to be the same old, same old, this is rather different and exquisite.

Set on the beautiful and tranquil setting of the River Severn's South Quay just a stones throw away froml the hectic city life. This spot is an absolute favourite for families and visitors to Worcester alike. At any time of day enjoy relaxing while the ch
Whatâs happening, scruffy decor in so need of a refurb, it now feels dirty and most of the seating is dirty or falling apart. The food is appalling. Itâs been good / great for years but omg , has it lost itâs way. Cocktails really good as is the service but for future sake, spend some money on the furniture and a chef that actually can cook.

We tried this place partly as it looks so beautiful. Glad we did!My macaroni cheese with cauliflower was wonderfully warming and tasty. The tea was loose leaf and served with a biscotti. My companionâs croque monsieur was huge! The service was perfect, friendly and helpful. And itâs stunning in decor! The loos are clean, but upstairs so not so good if you have mobility issues. Iâll return :-)

A warm welcome awaits you at our traditional Georgian pub. Great beers, quality wine list and classic pub food all in a relaxed pub atmosphere. And did we mention great service too?
Ate here last night,as couldn't be bothered cooking and thought that my opinion on the first review was perhaps a little harsh-------this was also being promoted as 'Pub Grub' night.Frankly I don't understand the wild enthusiasm in other reviews.Once again the starter was teeny weeny in size and no bread offered. Then came an extremely bloody steak which I was told for some reason couldn't be more well done. 8 or 9 very average chips came with this.Still hungry,i thought that the Cheese course[the only alternative to Rhubarb crumble] might be interesting.I had to ask for a fork, and two small thin triangles of cheese were presented to me.Accompanying this bacchanalian feast was a small carafe of vin very ordinary ordinaire.I wont being going again.
