Wide variety of exquisite selections on the menu. Pasta, seafood and steak choices all were outstanding and made it a difficult choice. Lobster crepe appetizer was delicious and fully endowed. Delicious lobster bisque sauce topped it off. I had the pan seared sea bass as a main course. Presentation was picturesque. Absolutely delicious. Wide variety of desserts as well. Again fabulous presentation. Moreover, our service was truly exceptional.

So, when I reserved this through Open Table, it didnt disclose it was a fixed menu. These are typically a horrible representation of a menu and grossly over priced. This was unfortunately no different. And look, I love the Royce. It's a great restaurant. But I took my family here for steak and to share a bunch of appetizers. Last night the only beef option was beef Wellington, which I wouldn't order ever. The meal was just a bummer. Dessert was a near frozen apple tart and peppermint panacotta with a unfortunate consistency. On the plus side, the service was excellent. So, take this review with a grain of salt. It doesn't reflect the usual menu, but that it wasnt disclosed it would be a fixed menu until we were seated really angered meDear RH,Thank you for sharing this valuable feedback, and we truly apologize that you found your holiday meal at The Royce not up to par. While we do note on OpenTable that our regular menu may not be available on holidays and include the prix-fixe on our website as the Christmas option, we understand the confusion and will discuss with our OpenTable rep how we may better ensure this information is made clearer in any way possible through that platform. I have also shared your comments with our Royce chef and team regarding the dishes served so that we can correct any issues immediately as we prepare for upcoming holidays. Again, we truly apologize and hope we will have a chance to welcome you in the future for an improved experience.Best Regards,Paul LeclercManaging Director

We had a party of 6 and all met at the bar. Victor made some great cocktails and we all enjoyed his mixology. The hostess was very nice and did not rush us to the table. We all enjoyed a great meal. Steaks were all cooked perfectly, sides of âhouseâ Mac and cheese was excellent. Broccoli and mashed potatoes perfect. Service was excellent great location for a business dinner.

I hadn't been here in years but I stopped by to get their buy one get one free offer. I ordered the chili cheese dog and California avocado dog and they were both delicious. Great place to grab and beer and watch TV also.Hi Creeping_Death_LA,Thanks for visiting Dog Haus Biergarten Alhambra and posting your awesome review. We're glad to know you took advantage of that promotion and that both Chili Idol and Sooo Cali delivered on flavor for you. It's also great to know you think Dog Haus is a good spot for watching TV and having a beer.Best,Andy W.

When I first walked in the restaurant, totally felt like those restaurants on the west side. Very classy decor and I love the communal table & outdoor patio seating area. They definitely can accommodate a big group of people. Perfect place for special occasion! The Service: EXCELLENT service!! Super attentive. All the staffs are very professional. They are very well trained. The Food: My favorite dishes are.....Grilled Beef Tongue - seared & sliced prime beef tongue. They are thinly sliced. Very tender. Squeeze just a little bit of lemon on top of the beef tongue, totally bring out the flavor. Very unique way of preparing this dish. I like it a lot~ Steam Scallops - steamed scallops with minced garlic & noodle. They are absolutely "jumbo" size!! Love the presentation. It would look so great on Instagram! They put the scallop on top of the noodle. The noodle was soaked in the sauce, so flavorful. That noodle could be its own dish already!Seared Foie Gras - seared foie gras with toast and cherry sauce. HAVE TO try this dish since foie gras might be banned again in California. Look at this colorful plating! The toast is buttery, definitely compliment the star of this dish - foie gras!Short Ribs - braised short ribs with sweet pea sprouts. The highlight of the night... When this dish was served, I totally forgot I was in a "Chinese" restaurant. Because how beautiful this dish was, so delicate! The short ribs was full of flavor, for sure cooked for hours. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Very good choice that they use the sweet pea sprouts instead of bok choy or Chinese broccoli. They also have Happy Hour menu & Prix Fixe menu. Very wide variety of food choices. Definitely have to go back again to try out other dishes!!The Parking: Plaza parking lot & underground parking (free!) Take the elevator to 3rd floor, the restaurant is right next to the elevator.
