Blue Point is a 1940s style New York supper club featuring great martinis, the freshest seafood and prime aged beef. The dining room is lined with cherry wood and Frank Sinatra's music is common overhead.
Ezekiel and this mentor Johnathan were wonderful! Service as we remember it from restaurants 20 plus years ago; professional, attentive, and friendly. These were not 19 year old kids who don't know or care about the difference between a fork and spoon. Ezekiel and Johnathan were career waiters who obviously have a love for what they do and the wine/food they present! The split of the caesar salads was devine. And both fish dishes were "12" on a scale of 1 to 10; beautifully presented, excellently favored, and plentiful. Overall, Blue Point was a dining experience we sadly haven't found in a long time. We look forward to returning during our next trip to San Diego!

The Grant Grill offers a fresh approach to fine dining, elevating California cuisine with seasonal inspirations and creative execution. Start your day with signature breakfast dishes such as the South of the Border Chicken Migas. Meet colleagues for a bus
This is not an everyday meal; many waiters/waitresses will tend you through the night in this very high class setting with excellent service and food in a quiet atmosphere in a first-rate downtown hotel. Our waitress was a poised veteran with insights on the area as well as the menu; right on target. And our meals and drinks were delicious. If you're after a special night out in a formal establishment that knows what it's doing, this is a great choice. Thanks for noting if this was helpful to you.

The large room was surprisingly, not too noisy. Service was great; very friendly and helpful. Seating was comfortable and access to the food was not too crowded. And of course, I can't fault the food itself; both selection and quality. The sashimi seemed very fresh, for example. And the champagne glasses were kept full. Tax and gratuity made it a $250 brunch for two.Dear Milocat007,Thank you for sharing your experience. Weâre delighted to hear you enjoyed the ambiance of our space and that our lovely staff was able to make your meal more memorable. Weâre so glad you enjoyed both the wide array and high quality of our food selections, along with plenty of champagne sips! We enjoyed serving you and hope youâll join us for brunch again soon.Sincerely,Jun SurDirector of Food & Beverage

The quality cuisine, comfort and handcrafted ales of Coronado Brewing Company have been luring thirsty travelers to the beautiful island of Coronado for the past 19 years. Whether you arrive by bridge, ferry, kayak or a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, ours
Family of 3 ate on a Monday night. Honestly I don't understand the excellent reviews here on TA. Overcooked chicken sandwich, fries were not fresh cut, empty ketchup bottle, and ridiculous kids meal price of $7 on off-brand blue box Mac-n-cheese!! Seriously, this is the first time I have ever encountered boxed Mac and cheese at a restaurant! My kid has never even eaten that at home, not to mention the tiny portion, fit for only age 6 and under. The beer was okay but we had much better the next day at another local brewery whose food blew this stuff out of the water. Perhaps high tourist season affects the quality??

Nobu, located in the Hard Rock Hotel of all places, seems a bit out of place. What is a high-end, classy Japanese restaurant doing in the Hard Rock? In any event, having dined at some of its sister restaurants, we opted for the Tanoshi Hour on a summer Friday.Tanoshi Hour has its own menu of small bites. We chose the yellowtail sashimi, pork yakiniku and black cod. All were stellar, but at $4.50 per bite on a happy hour priced menu, they should be. Washed it down with an Asahi draft ($7 for a tall, but thin, stein - probably no more than 10 oz.).Overall, quality was very high, as was the price.
