I like very much the "ambiente" , but for my opinion the food could be more tipical. I prefer for example an excellent and simple tunafish-tartar mediterranean style to a tunafish-tartar on banana bred with popcorn sauce. very good wine list. The dessert and sweet amuse bouches were excellent !!

Not the first time we have had dinner here , and I hope - not the last. Consistently good, with a rich menu and a good wine list.The meal was served at a good tempo, the waitstaff were attentive but not dominating, and as always, the dishes were attractive and tasty. The room is is calming, and that adds to the good atmosphere.

After a 5 km walk over the frozen lake from Surlej to Sils we enjoyed the sunny outdoor Seraina restaurant. This is really the paradise of rosti served in at least 15 different classic recipes (see photo) together with classic engadina food and beers and wines. excellent quality.
Vor ein paar Tagen haben wir diese gemütliche Stube mal wieder besucht.Es hat sich gegenüber unserem letzten Besuch vor einem Jahr nichts geändert.Der Gesamteindruck ist durchaus positiv, das Personal ausgesucht höflich und freundlich.Was aber nach wie vor wirklich gut ist:Man kann sich aus der Mittagskarte ein 3-Gang Menu zu SFRS 29,00 zusammenstellen.Das sind zwar im wesentlichen keine wirklichen Hauptgerichte, sondern verschiedenen Rösti und Pasta Gerichte, ergänzt durch einen Salat vorweg und einen Dessert zur Abrundung.Man wird aber gut satt, kein Problem.Wir haben uns jedenfalls wohl gefühlt und können diese Location wirklich empfehlen.bdzons

By far the best view, lovely place. They still try to sell you white Alba truffle at 14K CHF/Kg (down from 21K last winter) as most customers don't know you don't eat white truffle after November. They still charge you 8.50CHF for their "Qwellwasser" pretending it's free. Anyway, it's always worth a stop, notwithstanding food well below reasonable expectations and questionable price/quality ratio.
