First time here, visiting on a Saturday afternoon. Only customers in the restaurant and can't understand why as it should be packed to the rafters when such beautiful food on offer. The reviews for this restaurant don't mislead, this place is fantastic and I agree 5 stars just don't seem enough.Excellent dining experience from start to finish, host explaining the menu in detail and sharing the ethos of the establishment with us which we believe to be much needed in this area.I had the duck gyoza and OH had the chicken skewers to start and we each had the belly pork and haggis croquettes for the main. The presentation of all dishes was amazing and my eyes rated five stars on sight of each dish. The taste buds were not disappointed when tasting the explosion of perfectly infused tastes of each dish.Finished off with simple albeit delightful and desserts again sating all senses and appetites and washed down with a glass of gin being one of an abundance of excellent type of ginsIf this restaurant was in a city centre you would need to book months in advance and pay treble the price, I just hope the good folk of Chorley and the surrounding areas get behind this venture/concept as if we don't use it we will lose it and be left with Wetherspoons et al.Plenty of parking and the only constructive criticisim was that the drinks service was a little slow although on the plus side this goes to show that the food really is the focus of the service. The decor is also really interesting with a nod to the abundance of effort made to ensure the acoustics and air quality are all designed in a way that aims optimise the overall dining experience. Thank you and see you soon

Award winning family run eatery on Chorley Market. Healthy & wholesome breakfast, lunch & afternoon teas, chilled meals & stuff for your cupboard.
Friday night had a superb sausage butty, three great tasting sausages, on thick cut crusty brown bread. Saturday had a classic Chorley egg and home made relish. The usual superb food, superb service that we have come to expect from the Bees. Can not recommend them enough. Superb food and service.

Wonderful food value for money and brilliant service. So why is this place not packed to the rafters ? Well probably because of itâs position in a small shopping precinct next to a few industrial units. But donât be put off. Itâs beautifully refurbished inside and at £21 for 3 delicious courses itâs a gem.

Thought I would try this place because of the rave reviews it has received. Went on a quiet Tuesday evening. Ordered from the fixed price set menu. Pan Fried Mushrooms to start, Teriyaki Salmon for main course and Tiramisu for dessert. All the food was well cooked/prepared. The Teriyaki Salmon came with 'Singapore style noodles' but it was actually egg noodles not rice vermicelli noodles (there is a big difference) and made the dish too 'heavy'. Could not give it a V. Good rating but felt it was above Average. Service style left a bit to be desired. No side plates, just combined salt & pepper on the table, no tablecloths, food simply brought and plonked on front of you. Likely will give it another go on the A La Carte menu maybe next time.

Young lady who served us displayed fabulous customer service which supported a perfect Sunday afternoon treat. We did expect off the bone lamb and beef however sliced lean and to perfection. Best Yorkshire puds ever, not greasy and plentiful and a lovely calm enjoyable atmosphere with the bonus of a buble song in the background. Another treat was the price, so reasonable for what we hadThank-you very much for your review regarding The Grapes! We are all very pleased that you enjoyed your Sunday lunch with us! We hope to welcome you both back very soon.Kind Regards,Sharon
