Culinary tradition and modernity meet perfect balance in Sens : The menu offers typical regional dishes as well as modern and exotic creations for every taste. And if you still want to be closer to the lake, eating on the beautiful terrace or small island
possibly the most innovative and creative chef in SwitzerlandOur stay and especially the dinner at Sens was nothing short of sensational (to say Jeroen Achtien and his Dutch team is possibly the most innovative and creative chef in Switzerland would be an understatement). This restaurant has several theme evenings a year and I recently attended the white truffle evening. The 7 course set menu was absolutely exquisite and included wine paring for CHF169 per person. The only catch is that you still had to buy your truffle for the evening at CHF5.50 per gram. Ouch. Very splashy dinner, but it was finger-licking good. And, as always, the service was phenomenal!

I've been to Pluspunkt a couple of times and always enjoyed myself! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is always great. They use mainly products and ingredients from closeby farms and producers. Lots of local specialities!

A mere five-minute walk from Arth-Goldau train station, Gotthard is the perfect location to enjoy a delicious meal in nice surroundings. I had dinner in the veranda ââWintergardenââ which boasts a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.A huge thumbs-up to the staff for the smiling, attentive and efficient service during the whole dinner. As I visited mid-November the menu still included several venison dishes. As starter I chose the homemade venison terrine, which proved very tasty. The main course was "Rehschnitzel Mirza" - a venison schnitzel in a rich creamy sauce, served with all the trimmings: red cabbage, chestnut, Brussels sprouts, spätzli. Once again tasty and (very) generous portion. No room left for a big dessert, therefore I only had the homemade apricot sorbet - refreshing and very flavourful. As accompanying red wine I chose the expensive Amarone della Valpolicella. Gotthard serves it from a five-liter bottle: definitely a must-see!Swiss price level is unfortunately very expensive and Gotthard is no exception. The bill amounted to CHF113 - admittedly quite high, however the good food and excellent service are well worth it.

Hotel & Restaurant, old tradition in nice atmosphere. Reopened in 2011 after 2 years renovation work. Authentic Swiss food with seasonal products from the region and friendly staff with the real Swiss hospitality.Centrally located in the village, convenie
While this is a 5 minute walk away from the lake , it was a real treat to stay in this hotel. The room was very comfortable, however there was no air con which was rather disappointing. There was an electric fan which helped the room temperature come down! The room itself was huge, however and really lovely. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was exceptional. Local produce was used and of gourmet standard. Please eat there if you make a booking. We sat in a beautiful garden for our dinner and in the warm balmy heat of an August evening, it was perfect. Breakfast is served in the gardens too with local cheeses and hams and homemade jams and muesli,Parking is easy and is found behind the building. We loved it!!
