We had a late lunch here after hospital visiting and it was very enjoyable. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. I had the pear and blue cheese salad with balsamic dressing. This was very tasty. I also ordered a portion of rosemary fries, these were hot and crisp but had no flavour of rosemary.Brenda's pasta should have been served really hot but actually it was only warm, hence only 4 out of 5 stars. We will go back as it's an interesting menu and the coffee was delicious. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Jasmin. I will pass your comments onto the kitchen team. Its great to hear you enjoyed your salad & coffee. Hopefully we will see you again.

Called in here after staying overnight at the Travelodge; first visit to Skipton.Two of us chose the granola with fruit and yoghurt and our friend had the half breakfast. The granola was beautifully presented, was a very good-sized portion and was delicious. The half breakfast was excellent value at £7 including a cup of tea and was also very well presented and included several fresh tomatoes and mushrooms as well as sausage, egg, beans, toast and bacon.We sat upstairs where the decor was very quirky and interesting.The staff were lovely too, making the whole experience very pleasant. The Craven Heifer is our favourite and most frequented place to eat going there on average once a week. The staff are exceptionally efficient and friendly and always greet us like friends. The food is superb. Admittedly Iâve had a few hiccups over the years but theyâve always been rectified immediately. We like the âspecials boardâ which the waitress brings to the table changes every time we go there. The choice is always that bit âdifferentâ but there is the regular lunchtime and the a la carte menus too. Other reviewers say the veg is raw but they probably like theirs soggy and tasteless. Our veg is always al dente and full of flavour which is how it should be. We look forward to our Wednesday trip to Kelbrook and of course, look forward to going again.

Fantastic establishment- lovely friendly staff. We called in for lunch and had the soup, which was obviously home made and delicious, served with gorgeous fresh bread. The attention to detail is fantastic, and presentation is first class. The burgers are delicious, as is the cheese on toast and soup. Basic food served with a twist of real quality!

What a nice little place! A good deal of attention has been given to make this quite tiny tea room into a memorable, comfortable evening restaurant for a couple of nights of the week. The place was packed and the kitchen a little stretched. We had an exceptionally good meal with very chatty and efficient service. Definitely worth seeking this place out if you're planning a visit to Grassington.
